Lipedema IQ (“we,” “our,” or “the app”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, how we protect it, and your rights regarding your personal information.

By using Lipedema IQ, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Data we collect

We collect the following types of data:

• Account information: email address, display name.
• Health tracking data: symptom logs, body region logs, food logs, exercise logs, conservative care logs, journal entries, measurement logs, and cycle events. This data is entered voluntarily by you.
• Onboarding data: information you provide during onboarding (body areas, symptom history, family history, concerns).
• Usage data: anonymous analytics about app usage patterns (screens viewed, features used). This data is not linked to your health records.

3. How we use your data

• To provide core app functionality: generating insights, trends, reports, and correlations from your tracking data.
• To improve the app experience based on anonymous, aggregated usage patterns.
• To communicate with you about your account or the app.

We do not sell, share, rent, or monetize your health data. Ever.

4. Data storage and security

Your data is stored using Supabase, a cloud database provider with industry-standard security practices. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Authentication tokens are stored securely on your device.

5. Third-party services

We use the following third-party services:

• Supabase: database and authentication.
• Analytics: anonymous usage analytics (no health data is shared with analytics providers).
• App stores: Apple App Store and Google Play for distribution and subscription management.

We do not share your health tracking data with any third party.

6. Data retention and deletion

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You can:

• Export your data at any time from within the app.
• Delete individual logs, entries, or your entire account from within the app.
• Request complete data deletion by contacting us at privacy@lipedemaiq.com.

When you delete your account, all associated data is permanently and irreversibly removed from our servers.

7. Children's privacy

Lipedema IQ is not intended for use by children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data.
• Export your data in a portable format.
• Withdraw consent for data processing.
